  You need a valid passport and valid driving license. Foreign tourists must have an International Driving Permit (IDP) to legally drive in Bali.
• Can I rent a car in Bali without a driver? (Self-drive)
  Yes, we offer self-drive car rental in Bali as well as car rental with driver. You can choose based on your travel preference.

  You should be calling our local police station to report if the accident involves another party. If the accident itself you can directly contact us. We will send a person to check the damage and take care of insurance. We will do the replacement car if necessary. Although all our car insurance covered, but the tenant is required to pay an administration fee of IDR 15,000,000. Other costs that are not borne by the insurance will be the responsibility of the tenant.
• Is a car in a good condition?
  All our cars are in good condition and well maintained. We have a team mechanic and private workshop, we always perform regular maintenance for every car. Prior to submission, the car will be checked again and washed clean.
• Is Automatic Transmission car available for rent?
  Echo Bali also provides a range of cars with automatic transmission for rent. We have Toyota Avanza with automatic transmission, Toyota Innova with automatic transmission, and many more automatic cars, which are all the latest versions of the car. We offer rental rates for cars with automatic transmission only slightly more expensive than a manual car.

Term and Condition

• Usage Area

The vehicle may only be driven within the island of Bali, Indonesia. Taking the vehicle outside the island (e.g. via Gilimanuk or Padangbai ports) is strictly prohibited without prior written approval from the company. Violation of this rule will result in a fine of up to IDR 15,000,000.

• Required Documents

The renter must present:
- A valid passport
- A valid driving license (foreigners must have an international driving license)
These documents must be shown during vehicle handover and contract signing.

• Vehicle Use

The vehicle must be used only on paved public roads. Strictly prohibited actions include:
- Driving on beaches or sandy areas
- Racing, drifting, or reckless driving
- Off-road driving (mountains, dirt roads, etc.)
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Letting unauthorized persons drive the car
- Violating traffic laws or endangering the vehicle
The renter is fully responsible for any damage or penalty caused by misuse

• Fuel Policy

The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as when delivered. Shortages will be charged based on refuelling costs.

• Late Return

Late returns will incur a charge of 10% of the daily rental rate per hour, regardless of whether prior notice is given.

• Cancellation Policy

If the vehicle has been used, the cancellation will incur a 50% charge of the total rental fee.

• Damage & Insurance Policy

All vehicles are covered by basic car rental insurance, which only covers the rental vehicle itself (not third-party liability).
- For minor damage (e.g., scratches, small dents): IDR 400,000 per spot
- For major damage: renter's maximum liability is IDR 15,000,000
Costs exceeding IDR 15,000,000 will be covered by insurance
Insurance does not cover damage to third-party vehicles, property, or personal injury.

• Service Charges and Government Taxes

All rates are inclusive of service charges and government taxes. No hidden fees.

• Mileage Policy

Unlimited mileage is allowed within the island of Bali only.

• Refund Policy for Unused Services or Fuel

No refunds for:
- Unused fuel left in the vehicle
- Unused additional services (e.g., driver, baby seat) after a booking is confirmed
- Early return of the vehicle
- Rental fees are based on rental duration, not usage.
